Prayer Hall (Mossalla)

Prayer HallOur students have the opportunity to pray Zuhr in our masjid’s beautiful prayer hall, Mossalla, every day including Fridays when they participate in the congregational, Juma’a prayer. Students are instructed and guided in how to perform ablution, Wudoo, prior to praying, following the islamic manners, Adab, during their stay in the Mossala, and also doing remembering of Allah, Dhikr, when waiting for the prayer to start.

The senior students help during performing ablution, Wudoo. They would watch and advise the younger students to perfect their ablution, Wudoo.

The girls wear a standard veil, hijab, for uniform appearance during the prayer, salah.

The male students take turns, every day, in leading the prayer. All the students get to learn all about prayer performance over time due to the constant supervision and kind instructions by 2-3 teachers and the principal.

After the prayer, an authentic praise to Allah, and supplications, Dua'a are recited by all the students and the supervisors, loudly for teaching reasons.

After the prayer, the students get engaged in a discussion with the principal after his 5 minutes talk to introduce the students to the point of discussion of the day.

Examples of previously discussed topics are:

  1. Loving one another is a part of faith on the light of the prophet's Mohammed (Peace be upon him): "None is complete in faith until he loves to his brother what he loves to himself"
  2. Sincerity in the light of prophet Mohammed's (Peace be upon him): "Allah loves for you to perfect your job"
  3. Paradise, Jenna in the light of prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him): "It has what has never been seen, never been heard of, nor ever imagined by a human being"
  4. Vice of "Pride", "Jealousy", "backbiting", "Gossiping", "Self-Centered", "Selfishness", and how all these and other bad attributes would hurt the individual, and the society both in this world, Duniya, and the life after death, Akhera.

We pray for our children to be refined, and cultivated to be the best muslims they can be....Ameen.
